Meta Data Deletion Instructions
Last Updated: June 3, 2026
What this page covers
enso media connects to Meta Ads accounts via the Meta Marketing API to import campaign performance data into your enso reports. If you want enso to stop accessing your Meta Ads data and delete what we've already imported, follow the instructions below.
Self-serve deletion (preferred)
- Sign in to your enso account at app.ensomedia.io.
- Go to Integrations in the sidebar.
- Find your Meta connection and click Disconnect.
When you disconnect, the following happens immediately:
- Your encrypted Meta access token is deleted from our database.
- enso stops syncing data from Meta for that connection.
- The connection record is removed from your workspace.
Performance data already imported from your Meta connection (campaign-level metrics retained for historical reporting) is purged from our systems within 30 days of disconnect.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access your enso account, email corbin@ensomedia.io from the address associated with your enso account and include:
- The subject line “Meta data deletion request”.
- The email address on your enso account.
- Optionally, the Meta ad account ID you want disconnected (we can look this up for you if you don't have it).
We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days of confirmation.
Revoking access from Meta
You can also revoke enso's access from within Meta itself, which prevents future API calls regardless of what enso does:
- Go to Meta → Settings → Business Integrations.
- Find enso media in the list of connected apps.
- Click Remove.
Revoking access at Meta does not automatically delete data we've already imported — use one of the methods above to request deletion of imported data.
What we delete vs retain
Deleted on disconnect (immediately):
- Encrypted Meta access token.
- Connection metadata (account ID, account name, currency, timezone).
Deleted within 30 days of disconnect:
- Campaign performance metrics imported from your Meta account.
- Sync history and error logs tied to the connection.
Retained as required by law:
- Aggregated and anonymized analytics that cannot be linked to you or your Meta account.
- Records we are legally required to keep (e.g., for tax or audit purposes).
